I am an organised and friendly individual, and a hardworking and pleasant colleague. I am dedicated to my work and always striving to get the best from myself. I have excellent communication skills that I have been complimented on by senior colleagues in the past, as well as a keen eye for detail. In this more senior role, my responsibilities increased to include:

• Having areas of ownership across the site, ranging from tools used by editors to help with work, to sections of the website, and being the point of contact for the wider business for these areas

• Working with senior stakeholders on large and important projects, helping to manage the scope of projects and being responsible for ensuring that the site content is uploaded on time and deadlines are met

• Training new members of the team, assigning and overseeing their work

• Being included in more discussions regarding strategy and planning for the long-term future of the website

• Responsible for updating and editing the website daily

• Trained to a high standard in using the applications and programmes required, eg Adobe CQ5, Drupal, Microsoft Office and other tools created by the development team for use by editing team

• Working with other team across the company on a regular basis including regional editors, communications, SEO, video, design, and development on various projects

• Editing and proofreading articles from the analysts and uploading them to the site on a daily basis, ensuring they’re of the highest quality possible
