About me

I have a wealth of experience working with websites and content, and have worked on numerous projects in my career, from proofreading, editing and uploading articles on a daily basis, to supporting in the creation and population of a brand new website. I bring a determination to do well and a methodical, effective way of working to everything I do. I also have a surface level understanding of SEO and analytics, having worked closely with colleagues in those areas through my career thus far.

I am a graduate from the University of Lincoln, having completed an NCTJ accredited Journalism BA degree with a 2:1 grade. While there, and alongside studying, I rose from being a regular contributor to the student newspaper, The Linc, to becoming the Editor of one of the sections.

 

I am an organised and friendly worker, dedicated to my work and always striving to get the best from myself. I work hard and throw myself into what I do, and am passionate about making my work of the highest quality possible.

Writing is a great passion of mine, as is reading. I write fiction in my free time, and love nothing more than losing myself in a good book. Other than that, I also have a great interest in history, the way the world used to function and how society used to run. In my spare time I also enjoy hiking, going to the gym, baking,  swimming and playing video games.
